Format: Adventure cartoon / episodic fiction Status: Outline complete through Ch11 + specials; most individual scenes still needed

What It Is

A warm, adventure-focused setting centered on the Buddies — a group of bouncy characters in Bouncetown — as they discover the wider world, navigate external threats, and find unlikely allies. Tone is upbeat with emotional depth; the Warlord arc provides the main antagonist through-line.

Emmelpi content (convention scenes, statuette scenes) lives in this folder alongside Bouncetown proper.

The Buddies (Core Cast)

• Everfree — practical, infrastructure-minded
• Goldie — knowledgeable; gives the "coin lecture" explaining War Coin lore
• Starry — astronomy focus; connection to Glitterscape and space travel
• Poppy — messenger/mediator; liaison between Bouncetown and Dossier
• Spicy — frustrated at not having a defined role; secretly takes the star journey; returns permanently changed (generates stardust)
• Gummi — tone-deaf but exceptional rhythm; theory: her mother came from Vinyloceana

Secondary Cast

• Velvie — theatrical performer, purple glitter balloons, secret balloon room; remembers the "Bouncehouse" cartoon (Buster and Trixie); has an arm computer she doesn't wear
• Ivy — balloon scientist (green/orange/purple types), analytical, clipboard; secretly a Lorehound sibling (Rose/Cercis's family); manifests green blade under pressure

• Dossier — aging Hound scholar, lives outside Bouncetown, tends toward condescension about the sky/stars

• The Warlord — former Grand Librarian who couldn't stop reading a corrupted tablet; transformed through integration, not possession
• Schima — Warlord's pack mother; killed by Warlord (drives Rose's grief)

Key Lore

• War Coin — not crypto; the pattern on its surface is the message that corrupted the Grand Librarian. Copies don't "work" for others — you can't catch someone else's obsession. Reproduced through history: archival → loyalty markers → aspirational tokens.
• Glitter barrier — cultivated by Bubble Bears; scatters energy weapons; Warlord located Bouncetown because Spicy's star journey breached the diffusion wall
• Stardust — generated by Spicy post-journey; has diminishing returns with frequent consumption; made Salad Bowl Greens interested (tastes incredible on food)
